The Core Skills Income Threshold increases

Effective 1 July 2026, the Core Skills Income Threshold for employer-sponsored visa pathways will rise by 3.9%, increasing from $76,515 to $79,499. Employers sponsoring workers — and workers being sponsored — must ensure the role’s salary meets this updated benchmark.
