Partner Visa Australia

  • Spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, or
  • Fiancé of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, or
  • De facto partner (including same-sex relationships) with an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.

Partner visa 820/801

This visa is for on-shore applicants who is a spouse or in a de-facto relationship with an Australian Permanent Resident/Citizen or eligible New Zealand citizen. The Temporary visa (sub-class 820) allows you to stay in Australia until the permanent visa is granted.

Partner Visa 309/100

This visa is for off-shore applicants who is a spouse or in a de-facto relationship with an Australian Permanent Resident/Citizen or eligible New Zealand citizen. The Temporary visa (sub-class 309) allows you to stay in Australia until the permanent visa (sub-class 100) is granted.

Prospective spouse/ Finance visa (sub-class 300)

This visa is granted to applicants from overseas who wish to marry their prospective spouse in Australia. This visa is granted for a period of 9 months and the marriage must take place before the expiry of this visa.
